A foundational process that we do at the outset of any team effectiveness program is setting leadership expectations. This process documents the unique expectations at different levels of leadership. The output helps you: 1) communicate the value you are expecting from different levels, 2) articulate the required competencies to be successful at each level, and 3) promote better interactions among layers, including delegation, feedback, and coaching. The process requires a few steps:
