Raj is a Leadership Coach with previous experience as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer at MaRS. He also previously led HR for Gap Inc. Canada, CIBC Mellon, the Wholesale Bank at CIBC, and most recently Zafin, a global fintech firm. Raj has advised numerous companies across industries and geographies as a consultant at Deloitte.
Raj has been a trusted successful advisor to senior HR and Business executives for over 20 years. Specific to executive coaching, Raj has successfully advised and strategized with HR leaders, boards and CEOs on increasing business performance and value through people, programs and strategy.
Raj is a lawyer called to the Bar of Ontario and an award-winning adjunct professor for the Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources (MIRHR) at the University of Toronto. He previously served as vice-chair for the Canadian Race Relations Foundation and currently serves as a board member of Canadian Stage, and OCS where he is chair of the HR and Governance Committee. He also serves as an Advisor to CILAR, the Coalition of Innovation Leaders against Racism.
