Overview
Michelle is a natural coach and an engaging facilitator who energizes leaders and teams to expand their capacity to foster cultures of inclusion, engagement, and success. She is passionate about working with individuals and teams who are looking to define their own authentic form of leadership; who are willing to stretch beyond their comfort zones to improve and excel at performance; and who believe that improving our relationships with ourselves, and with others, is the key to our success at work and beyond.
Michelle’s authentic, bold, and humorous approach challenges and champions her clients to raise the bar on performance and fulfilment to make them the best leader or team possible. Working with Michelle, clients quickly experience her infectious energy and ability to deliver the no-nonsense approach that has made her a powerful coach and a superb public speaker. She connects deeply with her clients to create a safe space that is ripe for creativity, trust, and authentic engagement in order to develop and execute a resonant and sustainable action plan. Business Experience
Michelle has coached leaders and teams from across North America and the UK to help them achieve their desired results. She is a PCC level ICF certified coach and has worked with both private sector and not-for-profit executives and their employees to help them gain greater alignment with both personal and team goals.
Michelle helps clients get intentional about their culture by supporting individuals to develop their personal leadership competencies while maintaining focus on the needs of the organization. For two years, Michelle was a Faculty Member of Studio Y, a fellowship program for young innovators at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, Canada. There, she developed leadership curriculum and supported fellows to develop professionally to Lead Systems Change.
Prior to her work with leaders and teams, Michelle held leadership roles in the media and not for profit worlds for over 20 years. As Artistic Executive of a film and arts festival dedicated to breast cancer awareness and education, Michelle’s strategic, creative and leadership skills were an integral part of the growth of the festival over 5 years. She has been interviewed on Breakfast TV, Global Morning, CHCH and various podcasts and radio programs. She is an energetic and strong communicator with excellent sales and marketing skills.
