Michael is a senior leader, coach and social entrepreneur with global business experience across the real estate, pension fund and technology sectors. As a CPA, Certified Executive Coach, and professional photographer, he offers a refreshing and creative approach to coaching, leadership development, strategy, and business transformation. His diverse experience across multiple industries and business functions has provided him with a unique perspective on complex organizational challenges.

Michael’s experience spans a number of senior-level roles including VP of Enterprise Risk Management at OMERS, where he provided strategic risk management leadership across OMERS $72 billion global investment portfolio. He held multiple VP roles at Oxford Properties, where he led transformational change across the risk, finance, governance and learning functions. His work experience also includes positions at Ernst & Young and Deloitte.

Michael is a frequent writer and speaker on creativity and innovation and has been featured at numerous industry and peer association events. He is also an experienced educator and is currently an instructor and head career coach in the Intercultural Skills Lab at the Rotman School of Management.

Michael is passionate about driving social change and is a member of the ICF Foundation’s Council of Ambassadors.
