Overview

MJ has more than 30 years of experience in the Federal Public Service with 15 years as an executive. MJ worked as an executive in several departments, including Canadian Heritage, Statistics Canada, Library and Archives Canada, Employment and Social Development Canada, in various disciplines such as strategic planning, governance, risk management, program design and implementation, policy development, program evaluation and internal audit.

She holds an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School, an Executive Coaching Certificate from Royal Roads University and an Honors Bachelor’s Degree of Arts, in interpersonal and organizational communication from the University of Ottawa. She is recipient of a Deputy Minister Award for People Management as well as the Her Majesty the Queen’s Jubilee Medal offered to our Branch.

Her mission is to build a world of excellence, inspired by passion, determination and compassion, in which every human being is valued.

Having the lived experience of an executive as well as an entrepreneur, she has immense respect for the courage deployed by leaders in order to navigate serenely in a complex, changing and above all demanding environments. She uses a pragmatic approach, focused on leadership skills, to enable her clients to achieve tangible results and maintain a growth mindset.

Marie-Josée welcomes her clients no matter where they are in their journey. Using a growth mindset approach, she personalizes her coaching value proposition, recognizing that each client has a unique leadership signature, strengths, and challenges.

Based on collectively defined objectives, she accompanies her clients in the adventure of greater self-awareness so that they defines their signature as a leader. It promotes the adoption of new perspectives and action strategies to increase the desired leadership potential and greater personal satisfaction.

To achieve lasting results, his approach is a combination of passion, commitment, compassion and empowerment.

Credentials and Memberships

Marie-Josée is a Certified Executive Coach (PCC) recognized by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

She is certified to administer the psychometric assessments EQi 2.0 and EQ 360, Leadership Circle Profile (360), Work Personality Index in Leadership, as well as the SCHOR instrument (360). 

Marie-Josée has an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard University Kennedy School, a Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude, concentration in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from the University of Ottawa.
