Lama Younes

Overview

Lama Younes is a Career & Leadership Coach who helps senior leaders move their career forward with their own unique traits. Her main objective is to empower individuals to feel safe bringing their whole self to the workplace and deliver their best work.

Lama found great success in various Human Resources roles in the corporate world, starting her career with General Electric (GE) in Canada, and over the next 13 years, held roles in recruitment, compensation & benefits, and business partnership, including successful completion of General Electric’s prestigious HR Leadership Program. She worked in local, regional, and global capacities in four countries as she became recognized for her unwavering work ethic, and authentic leadership while continuing to be the trusted advisor and go-to person for her clients. After GE, Lama worked at Deloitte Canada for one year as an HR Business Partner, before leaving to pursue coaching.

As a Leadership Coach, Lama values providing a purpose-driven, judgement-free safe space for the client to make long-lasting and sustainable decisions and reach best results.

Lama is also a certified in DiSC and Working Genius assessments and workshops, as well Hogan assessor, combining the best of coaching, assessment reports, and HR expertise together to guide clients (and teams) to their target outcome(s).

Outside of the coaching world, Lama spreads a little more happiness through a small baking side-business, and enjoys traveling, reading, and meditation.

Lama is especially passionate about the growth, development, and mental wellbeing of teams.
