David Wexler

Overview and Strengths

David Wexler is an Executive Coach &  Advisor. He coaches CEOs and C-Suite executives looking to be even more effective as senior leaders within their organizations and in the broader business community.

As an executive advisor, public speaker, consultant and board member, he leverages many years of global experience in building recognized market leading, healthy corporate working environments in publicly traded, privately owned and crown corporations.

David has over 30 years of senior business-focused human resources and line leadership roles across a wide range of industries including aviation, technology, financial services and consumer packaged goods. These include key roles with The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, EA Sports, CIBC, Alias Systems Inc. and Procter & Gamble. He has diversified international experience as a CHRO and as a line executive with P&L responsibility for a $100M business.  He has had a significant impact in enhancing organizational success by building sustainable competitive advantage through people.

David was a Board member and Chair of the Human Resources & Compensation Committee for The Legal Aid Society of Ontario and past board member and HRCC Chair of the $2 Billion CancerCare Ontario Corporation. He is also a member of the Advisory Boards for George Brown College School of HR, Rosenzweig & Company and r/ally Inc. and past Board member of the Vaughan Community Healthcare Corporation; past member FLA board of directors; past member, Blair & Spicer Commissions; and past PAC member, Ontario Legislature, Ministry of Tourism.

David has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University and is a certified director (with his ICD.d designation) from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

He is fluent in both French and English.
